Rob Andes -- Oil Painting
Using Old Master Layering Techniques for Adults.
Intermediate level students
will produce in class a painting from a
photograph using a modern version of old master
layering techniques using traditional material.
Topics covered will include:
materials, surface/canvas selection and
preparation, pigments, medium, and oil
selection; under painting layering and glazing
techniques; color theory and application to old
master techniques.
Instructor will incorporate
demonstrations and one-on-one assistance through
out the class.
Instructor will supply
materials.
